Photos. A gallery of my moth photos
organized by taxonomic group. As of February 26, 2017, it
consists of 632 photos of 381 species in 34 families.
and Skippers. As of
March 13, 2019, this album consists of 158 photos of 84
species in 6 families. Most photos were taken in
the northeastern United States, but 20 species were
photographed in Costa Rica, 11 in Cuba, and 5 in
Ecuador. They are organized by taxonomic group,
using the taxonomy and sort order of Butterflies of
America. Some of my other insect photos can be seen at Bugguide.net
where I am a contributing editor.
This gallery consists of recent
photos taken within the past few months.
Unlike my other galleries, it is not organized by
subject matter. Rather, the photos are in
chronological order with the newest being first.

Photos. As of January 9, 2018, it
consists of 114 film and digital photos from places that
I've visited or lived in, including Alaska, Costa Rica,
Ecuador and the Galapagos, western New York State,
Massachusetts, New Jersey, and Arizona.
Ecuador. About 90 photos of birds,
scenery, plants, butterflies, and other invertebrates
from a trip to mainland Ecuador in February and March of
Bird Photos Part 1 : Non-passerines (Tinamous
through New World Parrots). As of
April 3, 2019 this album consists of 535 photos of 216
species in 39 families, all taken by me in North, South,
and Central America, Cuba, and the Galapagos Islands.
Bird Photos Part 2: Passerines (Funariids through
Siskins, Crossbills, and Allies).
As of April 11, 2019, this album consists of 392 photos of
168 species in 26 families, all taken by me in North,
South, and Central America, Cuba, and the Galapagos
Islands. About 70 photos of birds,
reptiles, one mammal, plants, and scenery from a trip to
the Galapagos in March, 2006.

Odyssey. Photos of birds, insects,
other animals, and scenery from an amazing trip.
Acre Swamp. As of April 20, 2018,
it consists of 196 photos of scenery, plants, birds,
mammals, amphibians, reptiles, fungi, slime mold,
insects and spiders, all taken at Thousand Acre Swamp, a
Nature Conservancy Preserve near Penfield, NY.
New York Bird Photo Gallery. As of
April 25, 2013, it has 266 photos with 140 bird species,
all taken in western New York. All the species in
this gallery are also found in my World Bird Photos
Parts 1 and 2 galleries, plus many more. I plan to
eventually discontinue this gallery. Photos taken
