Adult Andean Gull

Adult Andean Gull

This bird was just a speck in the sky. It has been enlarged excessively to the point where individual pixels can be seen, but it shows the fieldmarks: the very dark underwing and white patches on the wingtips bordered in black. It also has a black head, but so do many other gulls. Andean gull is the only species likely to be found in paramo.
