4View from the Road to Irazu Volcano This is another photo taken from the road to the Irazu Volcano on February 21, 2007.
5The Old and the New This photo shows a Costa Rica farming scene, also taken from the road to the Irazu Volcano on February 21, 2007. It shows someone plowing a steeply sloping field with the most primitive of equipment, a horse-drawn plow, with a modern telecommunication tower in the background. I suspect that the field could not have been plowed with a modern tractor-drawn plow.

It may be necessary to collapse the side panel on the left to see the marker,
9Tenorio Volcano This photo shows the Tenorio Volcano just after a rainstorm as seen across Lake Arenal from the village of San Luis on Nov. 2, 2016. This map shows a satellite view with the lake and volcano. The location from which the photo was taken is marked.
