Frigatebird Nestling  Photographed on North Seymour Island, the Galapagos, March 6, 2006.  It was fluttering its throat to cool off.  It was extremely hot on North Seymour Island, even in the morning. Frigatebird in Flight  Photographed in the Galapagos on March 5, 2006.  The photo was taken while the boat was moving, and the bird was keeping formation with it.  I'm not sure of the species, age, or sex, but I think it is most likely an immature female great frigatebird. Great Frigatebird (Fregata minor) Female on Nest  Photographed on North Seymour Island, the Galapagos, March 6, 2006.  It may have been on a nest.  It is identifiable as a Great by the red eye ring.
