Nazca Booby (Sula granti) Photographed on Española Island, the Galapagos, on March 7, 2006. It was looking directly at the camera. Their eyes are close together on the front of the head. This adaptation no doubt aids in stereoscopic vision. It also gives them a semi-human cartoon-like quality.
